The beautiful Magheramorne Estate is the worthy first recipient of a brand new category at the Larne Business Excellence Awards – Retail, Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year.

This exclusive private hire country house venue nestled in 42 acres of mature woodlands was built more than 140 years ago as a warm and welcoming home. That same ethos is now extended to visitors, with this legendary estate the ideal location to host exquisite weddings or private, exclusive events.

The Allen family have 34 years’ experience in premier event catering and received the keys to Magheramorne Estate in March 2020, literally days before the government announced lockdown. This was devastating news; bookings had to be cancelled, emergency financial plans put in place, staff put on furlough and a new business strategy created.
