Connolly’s ‘B’ claimed the first leg of a potential Ballymena Towers Pool League and cup ‘double’ last week.

The Dunvale side won the Knockout Cup at the Festival of Pool, beating Dimaond Dazzlers 4-3 in a play-off.

Brett McLaughlin was Connolly’s hero, beating Adrian Rourke by two frames to nil in the decisive game, having lost by the same score to the same opponent during the regulation matches.
