Banbridge travelled to high-flying Bangor in the South One Divisional Cup and pushed their hosts all the way.

This was always due to be a tough game given the league standings of the teams and for large parts of the match this showed as Bangor kept BTLFC under pressure, eventually winning 1-0.

Having said that, Banbridge did not let it get the better of them and fought tirelessly through the whole game. Great defensive work from goalkeeper Danielle Byrne and the defence of Zoe Mitchell, Carrie Moffatt, Becky Ervine, Adrianna McMullan and Becky Thompson thwarted all the Bangor attack threw at them in the first half while Jill Brown, Michelle Spence and Lauren Thompson tried to support Jena Redpath and Jessica McKay upfront and make a breakthrough.
