Mullabrack Accordion Band parade in Markethill likely to attract a big crowd

Mullabrack Accordion Band’s annual parade in Markethill on Friday night is expected to bring a large turnout of visiting bands and spectators.

Upwards of 40 bands could be taking part in the parade.

A spokesperson for the host band said: “It looks like the weather is going to be on our side.

"We will be parading at 7.15pm with the main parade beginning at 7.45pm. We would appreciate it if all visiting bands could wait until we have finished before starting to parade. Valerie will be there with the band bus loaded with tea and buns for you all.”
