However those who cast their votes in North Antrim overwhelmingly opted to LEAVE.
In East Derry the turnout was 59.9% with the Leave vote gaining 48.0% (19,455) and Remain 52.0% (21,098).

Hide AdIn the North Antrim constituency 62.2% (30,938) voted Leave and 37.8% (18,782) voted Remain.
Despite a majority in Northern Ireland voting to remain in the European Union, Britain as a whole opted to leave.
In NI, 56% of people who voted - that’s 440,707 - wanted to remain as part of the EU, while 44%, or 349,442, wanted to leave.
In total 11 constituencies here voted Remain while seven voted Leave.
